He has held various roles in the technology groups of banking, insurance, affinity membership and supply chain organizations. Salil has an engineering background and holds an Executive MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.

He founded and was CEO of a successful social enterprise. His other experience includes academic and industry research on disruptive innovations and behavior change. He holds a BA from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
